Spicewood Elementary School 
Giving students a voice encourages ownership in their learning and school community. Our PYP Student Council provides students with a platform to take action and be involved in their school community. The purpose of electing Student Council Representatives and Ambassadors is to help our students comprehend the complex nature of a representational governing body. Members of Student Council take charge and raise ideas to make our school better.
On Tuesday, November 8th, our students listened to candidate speeches full of promises and hopeful visions to help continue to make Spicewood a great place to be, followed by a visit to the polls to cast their vote for our 5th grade Presidential representative for the 2016-2017 school year. We are proud of all of our risk-taking students who ran during the 2016-1017 Student Council election!
A BIG congratulations goes to Noah, our Student Council President and William, our Student Council Vice President representatives! We look forward to your ideas and leadership this school year!
