The MakerSpace movement in education is about moving students from consumption to creation and turning student knowledge into action. A MakerSpace facilitates this student driven, inquiry based learning, and at Spicewood we have added a MakerSpace to the library and the art classrooms! A MakerSpace at school encourages a growth mindset amongst students and staff as they tinker, explore, collaborate, and communicate to share their ideas.
CATCH is a school health program designed to promote physical activity and healthy food choices. Watch how Round Rock ISD is implementing the program in our district.
